St. Edward's is keen to promote the learning and skills of children deemed as being Gifted and Talented. 'Gifted' learners are those with abilities in one or more academic subjects, such as Maths or English. 'Talented' learners are those who have practical skills in areas such as sport, music, design or creative and performing arts.
St Edward’s promotes the enrichment of pupils identified as gifted and talented though differentiated educational visits, such as the British Museum for History and The Roald Dahl Museum for English. We also strive to encourage independent learning by the introduction of individual termly projects.
