The time has come again for a truly exciting week for our Year 6 pupils. They have taken a trip to Fair Play House and are currently challenging themselves with all sorts of different challenges. caving, climbing, sailing, archery and most dreaded of all.... doing their own washing up and making their own beds!!!! Wednesday night also had a special bonfire treat to celebrate some of our pupils birthdays. They had a chance to roast marshmallows and swap ghost stories. They will be returning on Friday afternoon. Year 6 children have been studying Roald Dahl’s story ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ over the last few weeks. During this time pupils have created their own characters, commented on Dahl’s wonderful sweets and made comparisons between the 1971 original film version and the modern 2005 remake.
