Children were taken through potentially life-saving scenarios such as ‘stranger danger’, contacting the emergency services, fire awareness and safety. Children were split into teams, to collect important information and demonstrate effective decision making.
This is part of a community programme based on a number of long-term partnerships, centred around the London Borough of Newham, where Thames Refinery and Plaistow Wharf are located.
