On the 7th and 8th of March children in different classes had the opportunity to take part in a road safety workshop where they learned about how to cross the road safely. They learned about all the various types of crossing including, a pelican, toucan and zebra crossing. Roads can be very hazardous so it is very important that children understand the possible dangers they could face when walking across the roads and on pavements. The person who delivered the workshop also reminded the children of the importance of holding hands with an adult at all times. Remember, stop, look and listen and be safe at all times.
