Reception class created their own storyboards using our online platform ‘Purple Mash’ on stories they were working on. They used text and artwork and used their blending skills to wrote cvc words from pictorial clues.

This picture was created to describe a setting for a story. As the children from reception were working on story settings their task was set to create their own.

This forest setting was created by a reception child and the child wrote a sentence to describe what they could see and hear.

This drawing was created by a reception child to describe the setting of the story ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. The child also used their phonic skills to label the different parts of the setting.
