Simon Murray visits St Edward's
As part of 'Aspirations Week' the children in Reception, KS1 and KS2 class met author and illustrator, Simon Murray on Tuesday 25th February. He showed some of his books to the children and did a step-by step live illustration lesson for them. The children loved watching the character 'Icky Doo Dah' come alive on the page. Icky Doo Dah is a mischievous character who loves causing chaos and havoc on Copperpot Farm. The pupils at St Edward's have all been given some top tips in becoming an illustrator and learnt that detail, style and texture are all important aspects when designing your own character.
