National Smile Month
17th May 2021
National Smile Month is a charity campaign all about championing the benefits of having good oral health and promoting the value of a healthy smile. Between 17 May and 17 June, the Oral Health Foundation will be raising awareness of important health issues and ready to put a smile on everybody's face. We want you to join us and make a positive difference to the oral health of millions of people. During National Smile Month, we are promoting four key messages for better oral health: Brush teeth for two minutes, last thing at night and one other time during the day, with a fluoride toothpaste.

Children read out readings and poems and listened to the Last Post. It was of course a sombre occasion, but one that is no less important 100 years on from when it started.

MacMillan Coffee morning and Cake Sale
We have been involved in a number of different events since the start of the school year. We had a Coffee Morning for the new Reception and Nursery parents followed by an afternoon tea to fund raise for the MacMillan Cancer Trust. Cakes were sold throughout the day and in the playground after school. Thank you to our wonderful PTA members and Mrs Dourado for organising these events.
