  • Thistle Class Assembly

    Thistle class presented their assembly on Friday the 8 th of March for children, staff, parents/carers. They put on a wonderful show celebrating women and mothers around the world. Their acting and speaking in front of an audience was fantastic. The song about mothers was beautifully sung and it brought a tear to the eye of many.

  • PTA Mothers Day

    On Friday the 8 th of March our PTA hosted a fantastic Mother’s Day event at school where mums and other family members were able to come together. There were some exciting activities to take part in as well as some delicious food. Children also had the opportunity to buy roses to take home for the amazing women in their lives.

  • World Book Day

    We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday the 7 th of March with arrange of different activities about books and the love of reading. Both staff and children looked fantastic in their costumes including super heroes, princesses and even some scary ghosts. Some even made their own costumes which looked equally amazing.

  • Anne Frank Workshop

    During the month of February, children in KS2 took part in a workshop learning about the life of Anne Frank. This was delivered by an external person from the Anne Frank Trust. Children had the opportunity to take part in a range of activities as well as producing a booklet. A timeline was created showcasing the historical events of the time.

    In the month of February we celebrated Art Week throughout the school where children had the opportunity to learn about a range of different artists and various printing techniques. The children thoroughly enjoyed using leaves, lino, sponges and even fish to create their printing pictures.

  • Oliver Twist assembly

    Beech class presented their class assembly with a performance of the Oliver Twist story which they studied in their English lessons. Oliver Twist is about a Victorian orphan boy who led a difficult life during the early 1900's. He gets in with the wrong crowd whilst trying to escape the workhouse life. He, fortunately, runs into some much needed good luck and lives happily with his uncle.

  • Year 3 Epiphany Pilgrimage

    In celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we too paid homage to Him by visiting Him at the crib of various churches in central London. Fortunately for us, and keeping inline with our Catholic calendar, some churches traditionally keep their crib on display up until the 2 nd February for the feast of the Presentation also known as Candlemass Day. Year Three pupils, parents and staff walked from Farringdon to Westminster, accumulating 15000 steps to admire and pray at the beautiful Nativity scenes of St Peter's, St Patrick' s and Westminster Cathedral's Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It was a beautiful cross-curricular experience of our Religious curriculum being linked with Geography and Art.

  • King's Coronation

    On Wednesday the 3 rd of May the whole school celebrated the King's Coronation with a wonderful picnic in the playground. The playground was decorated with balloons, flags and photos of the royal family. The children enjoyed a lunch of sandwiches, drinks and cakes outside on tables decorated in red, white and blue and special coronation glasses. As a treat the children also had delicious ice pops to share with their friends.
